Kajsa Hollsten is a Swedish designer based in Malmö. Her practice works across furniture, bespoke objects and spatial design, with a focus on the relationship between object, material and environment.
Founded in 2019, the studio develops both commissioned and self-initiated projects. The work moves between functional settings and more exploratory object typologies, developed through physical model making, prototyping and technical detailing.
Rooted in Product Design and years of bespoke development, the practice specialises in custom furniture, made-to-order product pieces and site-specific spatial solutions. Projects span cultural and commercial contexts — from restaurants and retail environments to private residences and exhibition formats. Each project is approached as a response to its context, emphasizing material presence, proportion and atmosphere.
Alongside design and development, the studio also undertakes end-to-end concept creation for furniture and product-based projects. This includes shaping identity, narrative and tone of voice, as well as developing supporting material and spatial expression — ensuring coherence between the object and how it is presented, experienced and communicated.
Alongside commissioned work, the studio develops ongoing furniture editions and research-driven investigations. Selected pieces are available for acquisition or customization upon request.
